Native Plant Gardening

About This Event

Come and join us at our WCGC January meeting and enjoy a presentation by Eryn Harding on Native Plants Gardening, refreshments and conviviality.

Eryn Harding will share with us insights and practices behind the mission of her nursery in the Almonte area.

(Please note: For all our winter meetings, should the weather become inclement and driving conditions treacherous, we will post a notice on our website (www.wcgc.ca) and Facebook page on the day, and advise if the meeting at the hall is cancelled and/or being held via Zoom.  If Zoom, instructions on how to register will be specified. Please check our website/Facebook pages before heading out.)

Presenter

Eryn Hardin is the owner of Echo Native Plants nursery, located just outside Almonte in Lanark County and opened in 2025. Their mission is as follows:

« We at Echo Native Plants want to support our ecosystem and the creatures that depend on it (including us humans). We will make native plants more accessible as well as educate about the importance and beauty of native plants and the echo you can create just by growing native plants in your own garden. »
