Foraged Plant Fibre Workshop

Foraged Plant Fibre Workshop

About This Event

Join us for a full-day, hands-on workshop exploring the art of working with locally foraged plant fibres. Guided by Ralph Simpson, participants will learn about native plant fibers, their traditional and practical uses, and the techniques needed to weave a beautiful basket to take home. Designed for beginner to intermediate skill levels, this immersive workshop offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with nature, learn sustainable craft practices, and slow down through mindful making.

The workshop is currently open exclusively to Garden members until Wednesday, March 4 at 4:30 PM 🌿

If you’ve been thinking about becoming a member, this is a great time to join! Membership not only gives you early access to popular workshops like this one, but also supports the Garden’s programs and events throughout the year.
