Canadian Organic Growers – Ottawa- St-Lawrence-Outaouais Chapter

For those who are interested in healthy food and environments, educators, farmers, gardeners, and other interested parties, COG Ottawa – St. Lawrence – Outaouais, also known as COG OSO, has been providing programs and services. The membership base of our chapter includes the whole Ottawa Valley and stretches from the St. Lawrence River to the Outaouais in Western Quebec.

Being a local affiliate of a federally recognized nonprofit organization, COG OSO concentrates its efforts on offering mostly instructional services. While we are happy to participate in and add to public conversations about wholesome food production systems, we are neither a lobbying group nor a commercial association. One of the numerous groups assisting the federal government on the creation of the Canadian Organic Standards, for instance, was COG.
