Oshawa City Garden

More than 300 different varieties of peonies are on display in the Peony Garden. Schedule your trip to coincide with the peony blossoms, which happen from late May until the final week of June. Every year in June, the peak of the bloom cycle coincides with the City of Oshawa’s Peony Festival.

We feature a unique display of regionally hybridized daylilies in Oshawa’s Daylily Collection. Daylilies are a type of perennial plant in the Hemerocallis genus that means “beautiful for a day.” Since stems have multiple flower buds, mature daylilies bloom for several weeks every July, while each blossom only needs one day to reach perfection.
