Rock Garden Tour
The rock garden was first started in the 1930โs. Between 1947 and 1952, it was redesigned by Warren Oliver. Note the conifers planted then were called โdwarfโ, and they have grown immensely since then. Since 2014, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada staff and Friends of the Central Experimental Farm volunteers have been rejuvenating this garden by moving and replacing large trees and shrubs and planting alpines.
