Retired Master Gardener and plant collector, Mary Ann Van Berlo, will take members on an armchair tour of the amazing gardens of the south and north islands of New Zealand. The tour will emphasize the different styles of gardens she recently visited: from formal to English cottage-gardens and from the exotic to the native. |

Mary-Ann Van Berlo
Mary Ann Van Berlo is an avid gardener who volunteers with Master Gardeners of Ottawa-Carleton. Her 2.4 acre garden on the St. Lawrence is part of the 1000 Islands and Rideau Canal Garden Trail. Since the trail opened in June 2015, Mary Ann has welcomed many visitors and bus tours to her garden. In June, 2017, Mary Ann’s garden was featured in Ontario Gardener Magazine.
