Gardening for the Bees

WHERE: Building 72 in the Arboretum at the Central Experimental Farm,
east of the Prince of Wales roundabout

DETAILS:

  • There are many different kinds of bees in our garden, both native and non-native.
  • Some species are threatened or endangered.
  • Bees are necessary for pollination and without them our world would be a very different place.
  • This talk by Master Gardener Julianne Labreche, with MG Ottawa-Carleton, has a passion for growing unusual and interesting vegetables.
