The Ottawa African Violet Society will be holding an Open House on Sunday, May 5, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm, at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa.
Come and learn about African Violets and our Society. A small number of African Violet plants and leaves, as well as other gesneriad plants, will be available for purchase. Cash sales only
We look forward to welcoming guests from last year and, if you haven’t visited before, we will be pleased to welcome you for the first time!
Please bring a box to hold your purchases.

The purpose of Ottawa Afrodan Violet Society is to create a nonprofit relaxed environment for members to participate in and enjoy the art of growing African Violets and other Gesneriads, while exchanging ideas and methods to collectively improve their skills. We welcome guests at our in-person meetings, and periodically hold events that are open to the public for viewing and the purchase of plants, leaves and growing supplies.
OAVS is affiliated with the African Violet Society of Canada (AVSC), African Violet Society of America (AVSA) and the New York State African Violet Society (NYSAVS).
