From Milkweeds to Monarchs

Join us and learn all about monarch butterflies and see them in action at the Garden!Did you know monarch butterflies migrate 4,800 km to Mexico every fall? Join us to learn about the special relationship between monarchs and milkweed, the fascinating transformation of a monarch from egg to a butterfly, and the monarchs’ annual migration from Canada to Mexico. Following the indoor presentation, participants will have the opportunity to embark on a guided exploration of the Toronto Botanical Garden to learn about monarch butterflies in their natural habitat. Sunday, September 14 from 1:00-2:30 PM.
