Floral Design Program: Classic Design Fundamentals 1

Event Details

Learn the basics of classic floral design including four styles – a water-viewing design, a centrepiece, a crescent, and a mass design.


This
course is the prerequisite to all other courses in TBG’s Floral Design Certificate program. Learn the fundamentals such as how to select and condition flowers, how to use floral design equipment and how to achieve different types of designs.
Course fees do not include flowers or supplies. Students are encouraged to find a local flower shop or grocery store to purchase their flowers. A materials list will be e-mailed prior to the start of each class.

Program Schedule:
Tuesdays, October 7, 14, 21 and 28 from 6:00-9:00 PM.
Registration: Public $240, Members $190 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
Registration deadline: Friday, Ocotber 3 at 8:00 PM.

Marg Betts is a Floral Design Judge with accreditation to judge and instruct the craft. Her passions are gardening, plants and her love for creating floral artistry. She is a recent Past President of the Garden Club of Toronto and has also been the Chair of the Toronto Flower Show at Canada Blooms.
