WHERE: Tropical Greenhouse, Maple Drive, Central Experimental Farm. Please note that this tour is starting from a different location than most of our tree tours. Limited parking is available to the north of the greenhouse.

WHAT: There are many flowers on the Farm. Some flowering is happening earlier due to climate change. This tour will start with some greenhouse flowers on tropical plants, and then we’ll see what flowers are appearing on nearby trees. Some of the flowers are showy, others are less apparent: most people don’t think of flowers when they think of an oak tree! We’ll also look at parts of the flowers, ranging from simple and ancient flowers to the more complex ones.

Attendance is limited to 40 people. If spaces fill up, you may ask to have your name added to a waiting list by sending us an email.

Register: Although the tours are free and open to the public, you must register in advance to attend by filling out this ONLINE FORM.

COST: Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted during the tour. Places are limited, so first come, first served.
