–Your own natural history gear – we strive to supply all the materials you might need for the given activity, but if you have your own natural history items please bring them along! It’ll mean there’s more to go around.
Who is our Hike Lead? – Angela – has a Master’s degree in wildlife ecology from the University of Guelph where she studied an endangered butterfly species, the Mottled duskywing. Across her career she’s volunteered and worked with plants, pollinator/native plant gardening, foraged food, reared bumblebees, tagged Monarch butterflies in New Jersey, studied birds in Costa Rica, and much more.
Naturalists Haojie Zhu (top left) and Sanjaya Silva (top right) joined our Lead, Angela (bottom), on our first walk where we cleaned up trash on the SC Johnson trail. Come join us next time!
