On Saturday, May 18th the Kanata-March Horticultural Society will hold their 50th annual plant sale at their meeting location, the Old Town Hall, 821 March Road, from 8 am until noon, rain or shine!
This sale will offer a variety of plants which have been donated by our members: hardy perennials for sun and shade, herb and vegetable seedlings, native plants and house plants. There will also be giftware and gardening books for sale. Proceeds from the sale support the society’s monthly speaker educational programs, and the care and maintenance of the Molly Wilson Memorial Garden at the Old Town Hall. Plant prices start at $3, cash sales or point of sale e-Transfers only.
The laneway entrance to access the Old Town Hall is on Klondike Road, across from Shopper’s Drug Mart.
Our membership meetings are open to both members and visitors, for whom a $5 guest fee can be applied toward an annual KMHS membership ($15 per adult). Visit us at Kanata-horticultural.com for more information about our program and society.

- Kanata-March Horticultural Society
In existence since 1970, the Kanata-March Horticultural Society aspires to serve the Kanata-area community through horticultural education, local public garden maintenance, and special events.
We hold monthly meetings where guest speakers including local gardening experts share their knowledge. Winter meetings are held via Zoom, March – June and September-December meetings are held in-person at the Old March Town Hall.
We are one of 19 societies within the Ontario Horticultural Association’s District 2, and through this affiliation are grateful to receive an annual grant from the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA).
