Course Description

Join herbalist and forager Felicity Roberts alongside farmer and culinarian Ryley Bucek for a global celebration of the harvest season through space and time. Together, we’ll learn about foraging in the urban wild and preparing your harvest through the lens of mythology and festivals both ancient and contemporary. While learning the basic skills needed to forage safely and sustainably in our own neighborhoods, we’ll embark on a journey that’s part food history, part cooking show, part practical botany, and part armchair world travel—knitted together with the magic of common plants and the seasonal sacred foods they’ve been a part of for millennia.
