Douglas Vye will be presenting an introduction to orchids and their cultivation. Douglas has been growing orchids for more than 30 years and is a past president of the Ottawa Orchid Society. His collection at one point numbered over 150 orchids. His presentation will cover orchid physiology, natural environments, home growing conditions, and some of challenges with orchids.
Douglas will hold a short orchid clinic after his presentation, and orchid growing medium will be available for purchase at this event.
