Event Details

Located in Shannonville, Ontario, Canada, Clarke Koi Ponds Inc. have been constructing & servicing ponds and water gardens since 1995. Our new shop, Clarke Koi Farm, was opened spring 2023 and we met a lot of new pond hobbyists. Clarke Koi Farm is a 2500 sq. foot facility featuring an indoor 4,000 gallon pond and a 1200 sq. foot greenhouse filled with water plants, goldfish and Koi.

In the preamble, Randall will be introducing his business, including its history and future.

Presenter

Randall Clarke

Randall started in the pond hobby in 1981 when he was 15 years old. He purchased his first Koi, a Bekko, in 1983, and his love for this hobby continues to grow until this day.

“This hobby has been a great learning experience as it transcends so many of my interests. I am still learning something every day.”

Some of Randall’s extensive “resume” includes: his 40+ years in the pond hobby, he visited over 20 Japanese Koi Farms [Torazo, Dainichi, Momotaro, Isa etc], has over 80 pond builds and numerous pond upgrades, he has lectured to Koi & fish clubs both in Canada and the U.S. and he has appeared on Canada AM on two occasions to discuss the hobby.
