Please join us at the first OOS meeting of the 2024-5 season on Sunday September 15 at 2:00 pm to hear Alan Koch speak about types of Miniature Cattleya and how to keep them healthy and blooming. Alan owns and operates Gold Country Orchids where he specializes in miniature and compact Cattleya’s along with miniature species. He is recognized as an expert in the Brazilian Cattleya.. alliance and a trend setter in miniature compact and Cattleya breeding.
We will have the usual Show Table, raffle and refreshments. Members, please bring your plants to the show table by 1:40 to allow time for judging.
Please note – this meeting will be held at Nepean Sportsplex in Hall C/D. All remaining meetings for the year will be in Hall F. We look forward to seeing you there.

Alan Koch
Alan Koch owns and operates Gold Country Orchids where he specializes in miniature and compact Cattleya’s along with miniature species. He is recognized as an expert in the Brazilian Cattleya alliance and a trend setter in miniature compact and Cattleya breeding. Alan has been published in the Orchid Digest, the American Orchid Society magazine, Orchids, as well as many International Publications. As well as serving on the executive of the Orchid Digest, AOS and International Phalaenopsis Alliance, Alan is an engaging and experienced speaker on the international stage.
