Garden Showing for Ukraine

Sat. June 8^th (rain date: Sunday, June 9^th) 1:00 – 5:00 P.M.

It is a private garden and we are simply opening it to the public. It is a very large garden that has grown over the years, probably two and a half acres.

We will, of course, have the Canada Ukraine Foundation and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress present to give receipts for tax purposes.  The Ukrainian Embassy in Ottawa will supply Ukrainian flags. The Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral in Ottawa has been very supportive.

Tour the extensive gardens, enjoy the colour and scent of spring.

• Sample Ukrainian Food
• Listen to music in the gazebo

Donate to help the people of Ukraine.

The musicians in the gazebo will be local professionals who have volunteered their time.

As well, we will have a team at the event to greet guests, take people on tours around the garden and answer gardening questions, entertain children with a scavenger hunt, take pictures of people with garden backdrops, and introduce Ukrainian refugees if they have questions.
