Welcome to Ritchie Feed and Seed Inc., one of Ottawa’s original garden centres and agriculture suppliers since the 1930’s. As Ottawa’s oldest garden centre, our roots grow deeper through the community, and the years of experience show through our expertise and high level of customer satisfaction.

Today, Ritchie Feed & Seed Inc. currently operates five retail agriculture/garden supply stores open all year round. Each location has a garden centre offering a large variety of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs, open from spring to snowfall.

  • Garden Centers Throughout Eastern Ontario

    Our Garden Centres carry over 3000 species of plants, you’ll be sure to find exactly what you’re looking for. We have 4 main garden centre locations; East Ottawa (Windmill Lane), Stittsville, Richmond and Brockville. Can’t find it at the location of preference? No worries, we can transfer goods to any location to serve you better.

    ANNUALS, VEGGIES & HERBS – 1000+ varieties proudly grown at our facility in Richmond and sourced from quality suppliers.

    PERENNIALS – impeccable selection (varies at each location) catering to both landscapers & backyard gardeners.

    SEEDS – Eastern Ontario’s largest seed selection, from several different suppliers from all across North America and abroad. We can special order.
    BULBS – huge selection of Spring & Fall varieties including Garlic.

  • Professional Services

    Ritchie professional services include customer access to industry expertise for onsite turf problem analysis and education seminars targeting regional turf issues and challenges. Standard turf analysis services include water, soil and tissue sampling. Annual turf nutrient program recommendations and product use guidelines. Horticultural services are also available to assist with garden and tree planting layouts, plant suggestions and supply.

    We introduced our Garden club in 2006, and we are very proud to have over 15,000 members. Our Garden Club is a free club for gardeners where you can sign up and receive weekly news, get invited to all of our monthly seminars, workshops and receive a monthly curated promo code.
