Event Details

Sometimes plants don’t read their own labels and will grow in regions where they aren’t supposed to thrive. Mary Ann Van Berlo, retired Master Gardener and owner of Van Berlo Gardens in Maitland, Ontario joins the Kanata-March Horticultural Society’s February meeting and will share information regarding some of the plants that she successfully grows that technically shouldn’t be hardy in our growing zone. She will share some tips on how we can “push the zone limit”.

This winter meeting will be held via Zoom. Registration by e-mail to kanatamhs@gmail.com is required to obtain the Zoom link to access the meeting, by 5 pm, Monday, February 5th. Cost is $5 for non-members, or become a member and enjoy our full 2024 program for $15.
