Carleton Place & District Horticultural June General Meeting

Pollinators and their Habitats

About This Event

On Wednesday, June 3, at 7:00 PM, at our general meeting, Dr. Jessica Forrest, a professor at Ottawa University, will speak on how pollinators and animal-pollinated plants are coping in a world that is getting hotter and more densely populated by humans.

Presenter – Dr. Jessica Forrest

Jessica studies the evolutionary ecology of plant–pollinator interactions. She is interested in the causes and consequences of variation in species’ life histories and seasonal phenologies—particularly as these traits relate to species interactions, climate change and other forms of global change affecting pollinators.
