Join us at our November meeting to hear Jay Norris speak on terrarium culture with orchids. See his award-winning Wardian cases and how they are set up. More importantly, learn which orchids can be grown successfully this way. Jay will be bringing orchid supplies from Ravenvision: an opportunity to replenish all your potting needs.
The meeting will be a hybrid meeting. We will have the usual Show Table, raffle and refreshments with a longer break to accommodate our “Growing Together” sessions and provide opportunity to visit our “Ask Me Anything” experts and Ravenvision. Members, please bring your plants to the show table by 1:40 pm to allow time for judging.

Jay Norris
Jay Norris has been passionate about orchids for over four decades, a journey that began with his father’s spare divisions and blossomed into a lifelong obsession. Through years of both triumphs and trials, Jay has honed his expertise, ultimately gravitating toward the captivating world of miniature orchids and cold-growing species from various genera.
Since 1992, Jay has been a dedicated member of the Toronto Judging Centre of the American Orchid Society, where he now serves as a Senior Accredited Judge. His keen eye for detail extends beyond judging; he is also an award-winning photographer, capturing the intricate beauty of these fascinating plants.
