Lecture description: “You are starting a new garden, or moving to a new property and looking at a garden that is new to you. At first glance, things are lush and green, but at second glance, you recognize a dreaded invasive species. What should you do?”

Back by popular demand! Every year the Friends of the Central Experimental Farm (FCEF) partner with the Master Gardeners of Ottawa Carleton (MGOC) to offer timely and informative presentations.

The theme of the 2024 lecture series is Garden Friends and Foes.

Lectures are delivered via Zoom on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. and will be recorded for subsequent viewing by all who register.

This year, there are five lectures running from March 19 through to May 14, 2024

Master Gardener Andrea Knight started gardening with her grandmothers, and has recently earned her Master Gardener certification. She has experienced many new gardens, in various climates. Indoor and outdoor gardening are her passions.
