Harvest & Hearth: Autumn Farm Experience

Harvest & Hearth: Autumn Farm Experience

About This Event

Enjoy an afternoon experience designed to honour the bounty of summer, the vibrant colours of fall, and the gentle turn toward winter.

Step into the rhythms of the season on our forest farm in the Ottawa Valley. Harvest & Hearth is an afternoon experience designed to honour the bounty of summer, the vibrant colours of fall, and the gentle turn toward winter.

Together, we’ll bring in the fall harvest, close up garden beds, and engage in other hands-on seasonal tasks unique to this time of year. Like all our farm experiences, this is guided participation — not free labour — giving you the chance to get in the dirt, learn the rhythms of farm life in the fall, and connect to the turning-inward cycle of land, soil, and plants.

After our work together, we’ll gather with hot herbal teas and honey-inspired snacks to celebrate the bees and the bounty we’ve shared. The experience is grounded, sensory, and seasonal — a chance to slow down, participate in real farm rituals, and savor both the work and the harvest.

Perfect for:

  • City dwellers and farm-curious folks
  • Anyone wanting a hands-on, seasonal immersion
  • People who love forest, garden, and farm life
  • Those seeking connection to land, food systems, and the rhythms of the seasons

Bring your boots, curiosity, and appetite for both dirt and delight. Leave grounded, nourished, and in tune with the harvest.

Tickets are priced on a pay what you can basis. We want everyone to be able to enjoy a grounding, without the pressure of financial constraints. We suggest the following:

  • If you have a lot of money left over after paying your bills each month, we suggest paying more than $40 to support yourself and other learners.
  • If you have some money left over after paying your bills each month, we suggest paying $40
  • If you have enough money to pay your bills each month, we suggest paying $30
  • If you don't always have enough money to pay your bills each month, we request that you cover the cost of materials at $10.
