Create a Woodland Garden with Native Plants

Presenter
Jeanne McRight founded Mississauga’s award-winning not-for-profit organization Blooming Boulevards in 2019 and is currently busy as its President and Board Chair. In 2015 she initiated an amendment to Mississauga’s Encroachment By-Law, allowing residents to create habitat gardens that support declining insect populations on city boulevards. Her popular webinars on native plant habitat gardening topics reach a world-wide audience. Conservation gardening is Jeanne’s joy and passion, but more than that, she is a deeply committed advocate for environmentally sustainable horticultural practices.
