In her presentation, Marion will talk to us about how to incorporate conifers into a garden. Drawing on her years of experience designing gardens, as well as the creation and maintenance her own garden north of Toronto, Marion will highlight both the beauty and function of conifers in all types of gardens.

Marion Jarvie is a passionate plantswoman who has been gardening in Thornhill for over forty years.
She has travelled extensively around the world to learn about plants and where they grow. Marion is an accomplished photographer who features her fine photos in her many presentations given over the years all over North America and the UK. Marion also taught for many years at the Toronto Botanical Garden. Currently, she teaches about gardening and plants in her own home. Marion has been involved in the Ontario Rock Garden and Hardy Plant Society in many capacities over the years.

Marion loves plants and invites any and all to her garden where you will find the hardiest of varieties side by side with plants from all over the world. In the coming year Vision TV will feature Marion’s garden through the seasons. Marion’s garden has also been featured on a Canada Postage Stamp.

Before and after the presentation, we will sell our surplus packages of seed from the Seed Exchange for those in attendance to purchase at 3 pkg/$1. You will never get a better deal!
