Arboretum Tree Tour – Architecture of Trees
About This Event
Please note that the tour will take place rain or shine.
Where: The tour will start at the parking lot at Building 72 in the Arboretum.
Details: Why do trees look different from each other? Trees interact with external forces to form a kind of architecture. This includes the tree’s size and shape, its shadows and colors through the seasons, and how trees work with the rest of the space. If we understand why trees look the way they do, it will help us provide a better living environment for both them and us.
Tour leader: Eric Jones
Cost: The event is free of charge but advance registration is required – please complete the form at the link provided below. Donations will be gratefully accepted at the conclusion of the tour.
Other info: Please note that the parking is limited.
