Floral Design Program: Designing with Lilies, Tropicals & Orchids
About This Event
Get ready to unleash your creativity with lilies, tropicals and orchids in this hands-on floral design class.
These are truly special flowers for design, each having unique characteristics that offer something special for designers. Explore the history of these flowers and key horticultural characteristics, including their diverse colours, forms, and textures. You will also learn how to create outstanding traditional and contemporary arrangements.
Course fees do not include flowers or supplies. Students are encouraged to find a local flower shop or grocery store to purchase their flowers. A materials list will be e-mailed prior to the start of each class.
Prerequisites: Classic Design Fundamentals I & II.

Program Schedule: Wednesdays, October 7, 14, 21, & 28, 6 to 9 p.m.
Public $240, Members $190 (plus applicable taxes and fees)
About Pat Ware
Pat has enjoyed teaching a number of different Floral Design courses at the Toronto Botanical Garden. She is a design, horticultural and rose judge. Pat continues to participate in and learn about Floral Artistry at the local, provincial and international levels.
