Alpine Bulbs, Seeds of Peace and the Seed Exchange

Presentation

Oron Peri travels in alpine regions around the world. His presentation today
will focus on bulbs he has met on his adventures. Oron is a Plantsman, botanist
and author as well as a leader of botanical tours in different parts of
the world, born in Jerusalem where his family has been living for many
generations.

He is a world expert on Bulbous plants of the Mediterranean and his
book ‘Bulbs of the Eastern Mediterranean’ was published in 2015.

Oron is the owner of ‘Seeds of Peace’ a nursery
specializing in bulbs mainly from the Mediterranean and South Africa.

Seedex preview

The November meeting will feature images of plants whose seeds are
available in our Annual Seed Exchange. This is an opportunity to see plants
ahead of the publication of the Seedex in early December.
