Mountain passes provide a unique opportunity to visit alpine areas to botanize. In 2020, Bella and Barbara travelled to Argentina to travel with Marcela Ferreyra into the Andes. Together they drove up and into the eastern Andes in Argentina, then crossed over into Chile to explore the western Andean slopes.
