Welcome to our 2022 season. It is Canada’s Year of the Garden. It’s still cold out but our guest speaker, Manja Bastian, is sure to cheer us up with her great presentation. Tulips are the harbingers of Spring with their dynamic colours and majesty. But why wait? Get cheerful tulips in the cold of winter by forcing bulbs.  Manja will show us how.  In the Fall of 2019, with a nod to her Dutch heritage, she started Green Corners U-Pick Tulip Farm with her husband.   They just finished planting 350,000 tulip bulbs on their 13 acres in Edwards, Ontario. They are eagerly looking forward to sharing the beauty of these spring blooms with their new community of friends.
