It’s no surprise that insects outnumber humans many millions of times over. While some insects are beneficial to plant life, we are only too familiar with the destruction of many others. We can identify pest damage in one of two ways, by the sight of the insect or by the damage it causes. Mary Anne Jackson-Hughes, Horticulturist, will talk about the most common insect pests and what we can do to mitigate the damage.
